Master student of the CNC-UC "Brain Development and Disease" research group, Ricardo Mesquita Pinto, won the Fundação AstraZeneca Innovate Competition prize, in the basic research category (oral presentation) promoted by iMED Conference.
The €3k prize aims to support the continuation of his master's project in Molecular and Translational Neuroscience, focused on studying the impact of caffeine and adenosine receptors on brain development.
